Q: When is the deadline for Parade Application?

A: Deadline has been extended to December 10th, 2024. 

Q: What file format do you accept for video submission?

A: AVI and MP4 format. We do not accept YouTube links; YouTube videos can be converted through free converters available online. Videos over two minutes will not be accepted.

Q: Any guidance regarding submitted photos?

A: Photos must be color with at least 300 dpi and in JPG or PNG format.

Q: Any guidance regarding letters of recommendation?

1. Endorsement letter should be on the official letterhead of the office.
2. Recommender should email a PDF of the letter to the applicant.
3. The applicant will submit the letter with other materials directly onto the parade application website.

Q: We are a group with horses. What documents are required?

A: Equine infections anemia test, certificate of veterinarian inspection, borium shoe certification, and animal euthanasia consent form are required, once selected for the parade. See Equestrian Element Application Guide for more information.

Q: Are expenses covered for selected groups?

A: No, groups are responsible for their own expenses.

Q: How long is the Parade?

A: The parade route is 1.5 miles. However, walking distance from the assembly area, down the parade route and to the dispersal area is approximately 2.5 miles.

Q: I want to perform at the U.S. Capitol swearing-in ceremony. Who do I talk to?

A: Please direct this type of request to the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC). This will not be handled by JTF-NCR Parade Coordinator Office.

Q: How do I get tickets to the Inaugural Parade and official Inaugural balls?

A: Tickets will be handled by the Presidential Inaugural Committee, formed soon after Election Day. 

Q: How do I get tickets to attend the swearing-in ceremonies at the U.S. Capitol?

A: Tickets may be requested through your Congressional office.
